Buscando supervivencia en corea

por fin tenemos fecha para viajar a corea, así que a partir de hoy intentare escribir mas detalladamente lo que pasa, quedan 447 días, fecha del viaje 15 de septiembre del 2012, pero conforme las fechas se acercan... las cosas se complican, al principio pensé que me iría sola pero mi super chingu Vero a decidido irse un semestre conmigo, un día planeando todo me pregunto una amiga extranjera me pregunto si ya sabia que tan barato o caro era vivir en Seoul, si sabia cuanto pagar de renta, que tan costosos eran los alimentos, cosa que me inquieto mucho, así que me puse a investigar preguntándole a conocidos que viven en corea, fue realmente sorprendente las respuestas que obtuve (por lo menos tratándose de buscar donde vivir):

• Kevin Hola! Tipicamente un apartamento (studio style - se llama "one-room" aqui) es mas o menos W500,000-600,000 por mes. Pero es requirido a pagar un deposito tambien (W10,000,000) que recibirias en el fin del contracto (1 o 2 anos). Los lugares que se llaman 부동산 pueden ayudarse a encontrar los apartamentos en la area que quiere. Sabe que parte de Seoul quiere vivir?
• Fernando Puede que en otras ciudades que no sea Seoul cueste mas barato que eso, pero aqui en Seoul los precios de los apartamentos es altisimo. Yo digo que si puedes conseguir mas baratos que 10 millones de Wons, pero ese apartamento no es tan bueno como el que cuesta 10 millon de wons y aparte, puede que sea muy Pequeño o Chafa XD
• En el que vivo yo cuesta (W 200,000,000) es contrato de 2 años y no pagamos Renta. XD (verdad que si es Caro XD )
• Jenny Los estudiantes coreanos generalmente rentan cuartos en casas de hospedaje (하숙집). Es como vivir en un dormitorio, pero en casas privadas. Si no me equivoco, cuestan entre 300,000~500,000 won/mes incluyendo el desayuno y algunos lugares hasta cena. No lo recomiendo si necesitas privacidad. Pero es una buena manera de conocer gente coreana y aprender más sobre la cultura.
• Jung si, creo que 하숙집 es mejor para vivir en corea. no es caro y puedes aprender la cultura y la lengua mas facil si vives en 하숙집!!

Si alguien no sabe calcular entre Wons y pesos, la forma mas rápida de calcular es quitando dos ceros a la cantidad en Wons, así que la se imaginaran lo que se requiere para rentar un departamento, el deposito es muy alto, yo aun no se de donde sacare tanto dinero, y después si eso no fuera poco, los precios de algunos alimentos también están por las nubes esta es la pagina del E mart  y el costo de la carne el kilo de carne esta en aproximadamente 40 dolares, las mismas opiniones tuvimos sobre la fruta, pero esta información solo la tenemos para ir preparadas, pues nada nos detendrá y espero que si alguien tenia dudas similares esto ayude a disiparlas un poco, mi amigo Hyun dice, que con dinero todo se puede en corea, seoul se vuelve una ciudad mágica, yo solo busco entrar a la universidad y comer 3 veces al día o ya por lo menos 2.
